How fun! A give away!

My favorite tradition didn't happen this year, sadly, but for as long as I can remember, when we were here in Utah, we would go watch the fire works outside of the Stadium of Fire with lots of food, games, and family.

growing up we would climb onto the roof of our home and we could watch the orem, pleasant grove, and lehi firework shows all at the same time. I think the area is too built up now but I loved that as a child.

we also use to sit on our roof and watch the fireworks from around the county. we'd bbq and have home made icecream. i love the traditions my parents started long ago!!!

Hmm. I'm not sure how you would contact me if I was to win, I would love to win by the way, but I'm a friend of Natalies from Maryland, so she can give you my info if needed. Anyway, my favorite 4th tradition is going to the little town of Oakley, Utah and attending their parade in the morning, riding horses and BBQing at my grandparents cabin and finishing the day off at the Oakley Rodeo. Great memories and it's so fun to be with family!

For the last 4 years this is what our family has done for the 4th:
In the afternoon we go swimming and do a big BBQ with family and friends. Then, right around 8pm, with the curtains drawn and the TV up loud, we all settle on the couch to watch a super fun Princess movie (I have two daughters; 3 1/2 and 2 years). My girls are TERRIFIED of fireworks. My hope is one day they will enjoy them. But for now, on the 4th of July, you can find us having a fun family night on the couch with our Princess movies and popcorn!
Thanks!

So far, the only tradition our little family has kept consistently is one that is quite unintentional: It involves planning on going to a parade the night before, and then forgetting about it until we hear the sirens and other hoopla, and subsequently running down the streets as fast as little toddler legs/trikes can go. Hopefully we'll become a more normal family sometime soon, and develop some more traditional traditions. ;)

Adorable aprons, by the way.

my fav' tradition is knowing that wherever i am, that feeling of pride in seeing the flags and the fireworks will return. i'm so glad to be reminded of the freedoms we enjoy.
(thank you, natalie, for the heads up on this giveaway...and YOU really are talented--L.O.V.E. the apron!)

My favorite tradition, which has taken place since I was born, is going to my grandma and grandpa's for a huge family & friends get together/BBQ. we swim, eat, play horse shoes, throw the football around, take bike rides/walk around their gorgeous neighborhood and hang out. later, when its dark, we do fireworks on the street, then head up to the roof-top to catch the last of the big ones in the sky from Disneyland and Anaheim stadium.

cute aprons!

I just checked out your Etsy store and I LOVE your stuff! Shopping time! Okay now for a 4th of July tradition...we always got new outfits for the 4th of July, something patriotic. We'd all dress up in our new clothes and go to the local parade. Many years we didn't get any fireworks due to fire hazards, but we always had fun as a family the rest of the day by having a cook-out and playing with family and friends.

Yeah, I remember when you lived in the village. I loved the stuff that you sewed. My favorite tradition for the 4th is going to the park, which we have done forever, and just hanging out with family. No chaos, nothing that has to be done. Just picnic lunches and a playground for the little kids. The big kids like to play somtimes but mostly jsut be lazy. AAhhhh my favorite.

Beautiful apron!

My favorite 4th of July tradition is to get up early on the 4th and go to the parade. I love to just sit on the blanket on the grass on the side of the street and watch all the bands and floats. It's just a small parade, but it's still fun. I love to see the excitement on the kids faces when the clowns walk by throwing candy. I wouldn't miss it for anything!

The tradition Matt and I have started with our family is to go to the park outside Aggies Football stadium with a picnic dinner and play until it gets dark and then watch the fireworks with the boys. Even the long wait in traffic to get home has become a tradition!

We usually just hang out together as a family, whether it is swimming, BBQ-ing, and always watching a good fireworks show nearby.
If we were near the beach, we would go there every 4th and play all day and watch fireworks off of the pier. (that is what I did growing up)

Hooray, a giveaway! Count me in!
My favorite tradition is going to my parents cabin and spending quality time together with my fam. Lighting fireworks on the beach of Bear Lake (when it was permitted) and eating lots of cheetos and hamburgers!

We always have a huge BBQ and then go to the SL Beez game for the baseball game & fireworks and then we light fireworks when we get home. Next year I hope to add the parade to our tradition. :)

I didn't know before this week that you had a business blog, but I like it. Anyway, since Beaver is such a party pooper on the 4th, our tradition is to have a family reunion with my mom's side. It's great to be around family that you don't get to see very often. Can't wait to see you guys on the 24th!

i have loved starting our traditions together and making sure that the 4th of july starts with a stellar breakfast. we miss our favorite utah hot spots at ruth's and market street. this year we were in boston and had a great breakfast at a quaint, old, irish restaurant. and of course, we end it every year with the best fireworks display we can find.

My favorite 4th of July tradition is lots of time in the pool followed by massive amounts of fireworks food and fun.

No 4th of July is complete without a BBQ with family and friends. You definitely have to have homemade ice cream or root beer!

What a fun idea miss victoria! I didn't know if you wanted family to enter or not, so I was glad you invited me to enter. When we were younger all my brothers played little league. There was always a game on the 4th of July and Grandpa Ike bought us a hot dog and soda from the concession stands. It was the best treat ever! I still try to find little league games to go to on the 4th of July.
